DELIVERY AND RETURNS


Delivery Times & Costs 

For UK delivery your order will be sent via DHL Courier. This is a next day service (however next day delivery can not always be guaranteed.) Deliveries within the United Kingdom over £100 in value will be free of charge. For orders under £100 value, we charge a flat rate of £4.95 to cover the costs of packaging, postage and administration. Other delivery costs vary by country and region. If you require delivery to the Republic of Ireland, the Channel Islands, European or International delivery your parcel will be sent via Royal Mail. The delivery charge for your region will be calculated automatically during checkout. If you would like further details about estimated postal times via Royal Mail please contact the shop. 

We try our hardest to meet all delivery times, but occasionally postal/carrier delays or traffic delays may cause delays outside our control. Our parcels are sent via a tracked/signed for service. If you are experiencing delays, please contact the shop on 01263 714011 and we can give you a tracking number to trace the parcel. 


Product Availability and Stocking

We make every effort to keep stock levels accurate as listed on the website. When we receive an order via the website, we will endeavour to despatch the item to you within 5 working days. If we cannot despatch the item within 5 working days then we will contact you to let you know the anticipated date for despatch, or allow you to reconsider your order should an item be out of stock or faulty. 


Shipping and Insurance
Orders sent to you via DHL/Royal Mail will have insurance against damage. When you receive the goods, please make sure that they are in good condition. If not, you must contact us immediately so we can make the necessary claim from the postal service. We will ask you to return the goods to us and, upon receipt, aim to despatch a replacement item to you as soon as possible and reimburse you for the cost of return postage. If we are unable to source a replacement item, then we will reimburse you the amount paid for the item plus postage.

Invoices & Receipts
We will send a receipt for all orders with the goods. If you would like the order sending to a third party as a gift, please add a note to the order or contact us directly to arrange this. A separate receipt will then be sent directly to the purchaser. 


Returns - Satisfaction Guarantee
We want you to be completely satisfied with your purchases from the Pollard & Read website. If you are not satisfied with the goods you receive, you may return them to us within 30 days and we will give you a full refund, provided that the goods are received by us in good condition. You will have to bear the cost of return postage or courier, unless the goods were damaged before you received them OR our product description was misleading, in which case we will refund your return postage costs (see the "shipping and insurance" sections of our terms and conditions). Please include the packing slip with your order information in the returned parcel. We will aim to process your return/refund within 5 working days of receiving the parcel back. Please allow additional time for your refund to process and show back into your account.
